BACK TO THE PRESENT AND THE FREEDOMS AFFORDED US IN THE HOMELAND
re: the Transgender woman who was kicked out of a hotel in Las Vegas for using the womens bathroom, My friend Amber posted a link to this on her Facebook page last week.
A lot of people in the LGBT community have careers and so when I read this a friend who I was with at the time I read it the first thing out of their mouth was “Oh a hooker!” OK so operating on this premise next time one of my striaght friends who happens to be staying at or has some conference business at any hotel if they happened to be at the bar alone betweeen 2 and 4am having a nightcap I should assume they’re on the prowl for hookers! As a fellow human being I’m insulted by that automatic assumption. Anyone staying at a hotel or perhaps having concluded their business there it is far safer (and more acceptable decorum wise) to have a nightcap at the hotel bar rather than venture out to some random bar. A nightcap and some chitchat with the affable bartender. That sounds like a nice end to a night if one is in the mood for a nightcap. The elegance displayed upon humilating ejection is very impressive. One armchair critics first thought is to yea tell ‘em to drop dead you’re doing nothing wrong! But see if you’re in the middle of being humiliated like that by authorities people react in different ways And it’s not always a good thing TO react in an “Oh drop dead for Pete’s sake!” manner There’s an old school and a new school the new school is that employees, otherwise if that hotel does indeed advertise in their slogan oughta be WE’LL TAKE YOUR MONEY, JUST DON’T EVER ACTUALLY SHOW UP GOT IT SO WE DON’T HAVE TO LOOK AT YOU?
Employees do what they’re told if they don’t they wind up getting penalized or fired. One has to blame the CEO’S on this one. CEO’s if you want my dollar be responsible enough to really get off the fence, find out exactly how upper management is instructing lower management is instructing workers to handle people. You want my dollar or my complete disinterest in you, then my brothers and sisters in the LGBT faction must be treated with the same dignity afforded to me. We’re all brothers and sisters. Isis a pre op transgender who was a contestant on AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL after the cycle ended was a guest on the Tyra Banks talk shiow. Another former contestant /roomate on that cycle was a girl named Clarke, Clarke was from the south, raised in the church, Clarke a straight girl got a bit tipsy in the pool and had a deep kiss with another straight girl. Oh but that was just for fun. Clarke the whole ANTM cycle looked down on Isis and was quite mean to her. Isis said something so profound: She said that God made her and she doesn’t feel like a mistake that God does not make mistakes We all are on roads to places and yea Isis was physically born a guy who always felt she was a girl and was saving up for gender reassignment surgery.
OK let’s get into people wanting nose jobs or breast augmentation/reduction etc……. Does God and the church at large say that those things are damnable and spiteful against God and downright unnatural. Ok so a nose job is a minor thing compared to gender reassignment surgery but it is the right of every person on this earth to be able to be happy if they are not hurting anyone else and how is gender reassignment surgery hurting anyone else. The argument could come up that well they’re going to screw our kids up flaunting their ways that we ourselves don’t believe in. Homosexuality etc has been in existance for a very very long time. If everybody would have to keep that stuff a big part of who they are and who they happen to love a secret well doesn’t that screw little Jimmy and Janie up a bit when their favorite most inspirational teacher is beaten to a pulp maybe murdered or winds up committing suicide because they can’t live with the lies anymore? Make no mistake people are in large degree still getting beaten to a pulp and murdered
Not that long ago two brothers got hassled walking arm in arm and one was beaten so badly he died as a result, they were from a different country. My own mom is scared to walk down the street arm in arm with me or my sister because she thinks some will assume we’re lesbians and beat the crap out of us I can’t walk down the street arm in arm with my own mother? If someone is Gay or Lesbian or Trangender or Bisexual (by the way those traits do exist in the animal kingdom and among the fishes) If someone is GLTB then a certain faction of people, even people I myself hang out with, are going to assume that they’re prostitutes/ Or have loose morals and **** everything that moves? GET A LIFE! Open our hearts? Paul Lynde was Gay? What? So what he made me laugh my head off in every TV show and movie he was in Michelangelo was gay! So what His art gives me goosebumps with it’s beauty! There’s a documentary show coming up I’m looking forwrd to about Chaz Bono on the OWN network (Oprah Winfrey’s new channel) Chastity Bono was born a girl to seriously superstar famous parents Sonny and Cher, Sonny Bono went into politics (as a Republican) and Cher has continued as a solo superstar since the two of them first became super famous in the 1960′s. Chastity at a certain point came out with the truth, the reality…….. I’ve read about this before that although Cher who’s been an Icon Diva to the gays for decdes had a hard time accepting and that Sonny conservative republican (long since remarried) that he was very supportive…… it just goes to show one can’t predict how ANYBODY would react

Now this BECOMING CHAZ documentary of course is not going to be appropriate for all ages (imagine my horror when I was at a late showing of one of those SAW movies and I saw a 4 year old sitting on his daddy’s lap. but in this day and age probably 13-14 and up OR maybe 16 and up depending on where one lives and what ones kids are already been exposed to life wise I’ve sat next to grade schoolers talking about being ‘porn stars’ (and no that wasn’t just recently) THAT was disturbing, and disturbing that those little grade school girls aspired to that in the first place. TOLERANCE TOWARDS OTHERS should be taught from the beginning however it’s like the suitcase you fill too much detail with which is too burdensome for little kids to lift. Tolerance, respect, and self respect and dignity Says right there in the bible about treating others how you wish to be treated and for the non biblical following: Dude leave us alone if we’re not hurting you. I saw some really awesome photo once of several babies playing and laughing and none of them cared about color or ethnicity, you get to the older gets they just wanna toss the ball round play ball build legos and like whoever likes them! So when we get to be a grownup we’re supposed to spit on and beat up someone because of their skin color or sexual orientation?
Listen here MY sexual orientation is nobody’s business so I don’t think anybody elses is anybodys business either (excluding pedophiles and anyone who wants to have that ‘rights’ argument meet me in the parking lot at 6 so they can close up here) Yea so my friend who died way too soon was a contributing member of society EVEN when it did not benefit themself or their own bank account, just wanted to make the world a better place and wanted everyone to be happy and to be treated fair. Can’t write their name as they never came out of the closet Everybody has so much to give, so much wisdom and laughter and support to share in this world, and for anybody who dies never having come out of the closet to their friends and/or family that is such a huge loss of potential happiness for people.
The ability to be in love and walk down the street holding hands and sharing a kiss on a park bench, the ability to have children through surrogate or adoption (rather than let orphans languish IN the orphanages without parents????) The ability to just walk down the street by oneself and not be harassed verbally or get beaten the crap out of, maybe murdered just because people can tell one is not ‘straight’ In conclusion, please don’t ever jump to the assumption that anybody LGBT who was mistreated or ‘jumped’ that they were probably a prostitutes or parading their private parts around for all to see. If you’re willing to put up with ME than you sure as heck better be willing to put up with (and treat with dignity) those in the LBGT community which IS part of the larger community called humanity -

I supported former Miss California Carrie Prejean’s right to say how she personally felt about ‘gays when she was a Miss America contestant awhile back, I didn’t agree with it but I supported her right to say how she felt. People asked her what she thought during and after and then she got slapped down for her opinions That’s not right Honesty should never be slapped down. Genius that I am what ARE my honest opinions about anything?!
Separating what I was taught being raised by my parents if I happen to have a conflict in my heart about certain things or the crowd I may run with or work with.Oh the lone Republican Punk Rockers on tour with all the liberals! One needs to let go of arrogance…I certainly don’t know everything, or even a lot… all I personally know is I myself have no problem with the LGBTS and have had many friend ‘of that ilk’ and maybe even more than I have actually been aware of because who someone boinks I don’t care about, I care about that person and what they bring to the table and what I bring to the table and how much we all inspire each other to contribute towards the betterment of our society art music and literary wise first of all Don’t care if you sleep with a man or a woman or a grapefruit or want to be gender reassigned, I want you to be happy just as I see that you as a good person want me to be happy. By the way, not that I know much but if I were a ‘tranny hooker’ (for lack of a better phrase on the prowl I’d opt to use the mens room facilities. Me, I’ve got no problem using the same restroom as a pre-op or post op transgender one can tell who’s just trying to live their lives and who’s not. And if one is worried about their kids don’t send them into a bathroom alone in the first place, veruy easy for a guy dressed as a guy could sneak in there or hidden cameras in the stall (if you watch Law and Order SVU or LIFETIME movies). What seriously bothers and worries me about using a public womens restroom is finding that some germaphobe has sprayed tinkled all over the toilet seat because they’re afraid to seat their precious butts on the seat and risk icky germs (because these germaphobes do not appear to wipe their tinkle off seat afterwards I kid you not (I hate to out my own mother but I suspect she IS one of them which is why I bought her disposable toilet seat covers to take with her. Listen up! YOU all are creating queasy urine germs for me and for kids who know not enough to wipe the seat before they sit down at least clean up after yourselves!
Anybody who feels they were born a woman who needs to use a woman’s restroom as long as they don’t engage in that germaphobe spray is fine by me. By the way I wrote most of this a week ago when I read the below linked article and I am feeling my patriotism today. I’m not down at Ground Zero dancing with jello shots in my hand. I choose to display it the way patrioism is meant to be displayed, by defending the rights and freedoms of other American who do no harm to others, who just want to pay their taxes, fall in love and live their lives without getting the crap kicked out of them or be denied use of a restroom. The same rights I myself am afforded.
I don’t like to get into people’s business unless I think someone’s being messed with. I myself have been scared I’d be beaten up or worse since I was 11 for no good reason other than I was ‘culturally different and easy to pick on’ OR for who I happen to be friends with. And nobody should ever be allowed to pick anybody else’s friends based on prejudicial criteria such as race, religion, sexual orientation or even political affiliation
